How long is the season?
Season begins in September and in most seasons runs until April. The season will contain exhibtion games, tournaments, playoff games and potentially provincials.
How much practice time will there be?
Like many senior tournament teams we will not have regular practices. There is potential to have a few exhibition games throughout the season.
How many tournaments do we go in?
The amount of tournaments the team registers in varies per year and based on the players wants. Typically this is on average one tournament per month.
How far will I have to drive
The travel distance will vary based on the tournament or exhibition game distance. However many girls carpool together to help with the travel distance.
What is the cost?
The Senior Woman’s team is not required to pay additional Association rep fees. The fees due are listed below, all players are expected to pay their share of the team fees.
REGISTRATION = Set Fee (due at time of registration) - this covers OWHA insurance, team bond, and OWHA admin fee.
TOURNAMENTS = Set fee per tournament - (Can vary slightly based on tournament fees and number of players attending)
EXHIBTION GAMES = Set fee (varies slightly based on ice and ref costs)

Is there any special equipment required?
All Honeywood Badgers players will be provided with a jersey (must be returned at the end of the season). Each player will be expected to pay for their own set of Honeywood Badgers socks so that the players all match (The team must all have matching socks and jersey to complete in provincials).
